I enjoy wearing many hats in my role, as I have the pleasure of interacting with babies, school agers, tweens, teens, grown-ups, grandparents, and everyone in between. I love creating fun, engaging programs for kids and teens and am passionate about providing a welcoming, inclusive environment for all.
One of the best things I have discovered about this field is that most youth services librarians are willing to be transparent and are eager to share the things they do–both successes and failures. This blog is a way for me to contribute to the conversation, by sharing about the things I make and do in my library.
I hope you are inspired by some of the things you see and read in this blog, as I have most definitely gotten many ideas and encouragement from reading other Youth Services blogs!
